100 Black Men of America, Inc.

Dr. Rolle was invited as a guest panelist for the 100 Black Men of America, Inc., 33rd Annual Conference, Legendary Leadership: Past/Present/Future Youth Summit: History, Impact and Future of Electronic Media.  The event was held in Las Vegas, Nevada from on Wednesday, June 12 through Sunday, June 16, 2019.  Everyone on the panel was appointed two (2) panel discussion questions.  Dr. Rolle focused on sharing the following with the young adults in attendance: How do we balance privacy against convenience in the "Attention Economy"? and How do we monitor and protect our digital/social media footprint?

Keys for Success in Leadership

Dr. Rolle was invited on March 27, 2019, as a guest lecturer to share with doctoral students enrolled in the LPL 705 Administrative Theory course in the Educational Leadership Policy & Law program at Alabama State University located in Montgomery, Alabama.  An essential focus of the discussion was centered around leadership development and skills that are not taught in the classroom. Thanks to Dr. Kecia Ashley and Dr. Kimberly King-Jupiter for the opportunity to share with students from Cohorts 15 & 17.

ACE 2019 Annual Meeting

The American Council on Education (ACE) 101st Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, March 9-12, 2019 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. The nation's most distinguished higher education event for presidents, chancellors, chief academic officers, and those seeking to advance in senior leadership positions in higher education.  

2019 HBCU Apple Visit

Alabama State University leaders along with other HBCU participants took a visit to Apple in Cupertino, California in February. 

Blacks in Government 

Blacks in Government (BIG), "an advocate for the employment and general welfare of Blacks employed in Federal, State and local governments and to establish a national network of Black Federal, State and local government employees, do hereby establish this constitution for a national organization of Blacks in government." 40th National Training Institute (NTI) in New Orleans, Louisiana, August 13-16, 2018. 

Giving Back and Making a Difference

On Sunday, August 26, 2018, the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. celebrated the inauguration of Alabama State University (ASU) President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr.  They pledged more than $100,000 dollars to ASU in his honor.
